    Letter from Founder/Director

    Namaste !

Glad to tell that we have come across a decade long journey of helping children. Now, we are running in the 11th year.  The organization was established in 2003 with an objective of humanitarian support to the orphan and helpless children due to internal conflict in Nepal. We became successful to protect many children from being mistreated, abused and exploited and gave a happy childhood life with proper education and care in these periods. There are still many children in remote and urban areas of Nepal who are without education and care due to family fragmentation and extreme poverty, and they are crying for help.

Motherhood Care Nepal has focused its special concern to the education of the children. So, it has conducted various programs and activities of motivation and awareness on education in the backward community people whose children are deprived of going to school. Projects like Pig Farm and Rickshaw Driving for family support have been operated in the Santhal community of Jhapa District so that the Santhal parents can earn and educate their children.

Every child deserves for a family. MC Nepal has raised its voice to finding family for a child by promoting National Adoption as an alternative care. A child must have family to grow- according to the principal of CRC. The children of Children’s Homes should not be without families. As early as possible, they should have families. So we have a fear whether these children are losing their own identity in future since they will not have families either Nepalese or others. Thus, we would like to draw a serious attention of all concerned parties, stakeholders and people to this grave situation of children.
Lastly, we further work hard to helping children in the coming days.
Thanking you all for your continuous supports and encouragement to us !
