1. A Children’s Home: To provide a safe shelter, education, and healthcare to orphaned and vulnerable children, a Children’s Home is under operation since 2003. It is a main program of the organization. Wise-Aid, UK is now supporting to this program.
2. Growing Strong Project-I & II, and Income-generating program: To minimize child mortality rate and to improve maternal health of the Santhal Community people of Jhapa, Nepal, Growing Strong Project-I & II were conducted in 2008 & 2011 under the support of ANPAS, Italy. Health camps, prenatal/postnatal care, and nutrition programs were conducted.
Income generating activities like Pig Farm and Rikshaw Driving were also conducted in the Santhal Communities. The program was designed to help for the education and health of the Santhal children. Santhal families and their children were benefitted directly.
3. A Workshop on the Process of Domestic Adoption and Rooms for Improvements: A One-Day Workshop was held amongst the stakeholders, a line ministry, concerned bodies, children’s homes and consultants in 2014 funded by AI. BI., an Italian INGO in Kathmandu. A book titled A study report: Domestic Adoption as an Alternative Care System was published.
4. Children’s GYM Hall & Playground: ANPAS, Italy funded to set up a mini GYM Hall & Playground for the physical and mental development of the kids of Motherhood Care Nepal in 2017 in Lalitpur.
5. First Aid Training Program: A Five-Day from Nov 2-6, 2017 was conducted a First Aid Training program to enable staffs and managers of the children’s homes of Lalitpur, Nepal to carry out appropriate first aid in an emergency situation to the kids. Staffs and children from 11 children’s homes of Lalitpur were participated in the program. The program was funded by ANPAS and Otto Per Mille, Italy.
6. Feels Like Home Project: To improve the living condition of the children residing in the children’s home of Motherhood Care Nepal and for their better care, the Waldesian Evangelic Church, Italy contributed funds for the six-month project in Dec. 2017.
